Pornography baron Larry Flynt has filmed an adult movie about Sarah Palin, with a look-alike standing in for the Republican vice-presidential nominee.
The Hustler founder has made an X-rated movie using an adult-film actress who resembles the governor of Alaska.
Flynt’s team had posted an anonymous advert on the website Craigslist just days after Mrs Palin took the Republican convention by storm last month.
The ad read: “Looking for a Sarah Palin look-alike for an adult film to be shot in the next 10 days.”
The actress would be paid $3,000 (£1,700) for the part.
Flynt’s spokesman confirmed to the New York Daily News that the film had been shot, but he would not yet reveal the title.
Bloggers have already suggested various titles such as “Northern XXXposure” and “Riding Pipeline”
Flynt, who suffers from bipolar disorder and is paralysed from the waist down after an assassination attempt, has run for public office in the past and sees himself as a champion of freedom of speech.
Note: I haven’t linked to Sarah today although she is very active in California if I have it right. The reason is because of the hatred of the “sophisticated left” displayed in many of the columns I have been reading since her debate. Perhaps “hatred” is the wrong word to use — “fear” might be a better way of phrasing things. Larry Flynt represents everything I despise in this life but he has one thing right. Freedom of speech is important if for no other reason than to display the total ignorance of those who think of themselves as sophisticated.
I watched Tina Fey’s skit on SNL earlier and while she is highly entertaining I drew the conclusion that she and her producers think Sarah is a huge joke. Well, I’m here to tell you she’s not and now that McCain has turned her loose I think Obama is in deep trouble. She draws crowds like a bear to honey and the more people like Flynt try to put her down the angrier your average voter is going to get. Especially when they come to realize the mess the congress and senate have dropped on them this past week (Sarah is going to remind them of all that in the days to come – repeatedly).
“Nope”…Sarah is no joke and a lot of people are going to lose their jobs after the November election. I can see it coming and Obama can’t stop it. The reason — Obama represents people like Flynt who strongly support him and the more they pull this kind of stunt the more they drive voters to McCain. Not for any good reason. Rather, because they are very upset with the sheer stupidity of the attacks.
It’s a gut thing — something felt rather than understood. And there’s a reckoning coming soon.

That thing’s going to sell like hotcakes, and probably via a lot of the people who originally endorsed Palin. How many times did we have to hear how “hot” she is?

“That thing’s going to sell like hotcakes”…no doubt in my mind but it’s going to cost Obama a lot of votes in the long run.
Not everyone is “amused”.
As I’ve said before…the more “pinheads” like Flynt attack her the more votes she will garner and that’s been their problem since she first came to our attention isn’t it?
Obama is not the only rock star out there now.

Jack I don’t think most people will be looking at it politically … or tying it to Obama. Only the hardcore partisans tend to view everything in black and white terms like this. Virtually every female celebrity or personality of note has an imitator in the adult film industry.

Great that Sarah Palin is doing so well. I’m totally in her corner but am a bit on the concerned side about what I find to be a deep seated hatred by the left, not just for the right, not that we have anything close to that (unless you consider Obama’s Truth Police in that catagory..but then they are doing it from the Ministry of Truth and Correct Speech), but to the CENTER.
Sure hope Sarah has good men looking after her. The lunatic fringe is alive and well.

Two things here:
Any country which through its media and entertainment industries consistently attacks and denigrates its leadership and fosters distrust and hatred of that leadership is in deep trouble.
Any politician(s)or (political systems) who act in such a self serving and dishonest manners, so as attract such denigrating and vicious attacks, is also in big trouble.
As I see it, America is in big trouble, and Canada may be also.

Exactly my point. They will not be voting for McCain or Obama…they will be voting for Sarah because they love her.
No other reason and people like Larry really help that situation along as they piss off the whole world.
As I said…”Larry is brilliant”.
He knocked one right out of the park today for Sarah and the Obama team must be seeing their worst nightmare come true as the “know it all left” takes a big hit.
You can take this to the bank. Everytime some “no mind” attacks Sarah she has ammunition she can use to build support and she’s a very smart politician. She will do that.
Final point — it doesn’t matter what you and I think. We are following this stuff and beat each other up over it and that is neither “here nor there”.
Our tiny voices don’t matter.
What does matter is the perception of the voting public who are not watching that closely.
What they see is a bunch of bullies picking on a “hockey mom” with a fine history just like theirs…and you can trust me on this.
They don’t like it.

Added thought — when Sarah walks onto the stage does Obama even matter? Does anyone even hear him?

Truth be told Obama tanked to early and McCain knew this all along.

A poster here once noted that his Grandad, a WWII RCA vet, said “If you are drawing flack you know that you are hitting the target” Sarah has the Demos and the media running for the bomb shelters! It is really very funny to see them ‘grinding the gears and spinning in all four’! (One of my late Dad’s favorite terms for the reactions of people he considered less than bright).
This ’special needs’ person obviously is using his physical condition to excuse himself from public outrage…pathetic.
