Another Canadian gal who stops your heart. She’s been up before here but I’m featuring her again.

    Anna “approves”.

  2. Anna Keightley Says:

Do excuse me Jack. Perhaps it’s my complete eccentricity — well I know it is. I simply can’t stand what I consider bad music. I have to carry ear plugs with me to avoid musack in public places. If something grates at my ears, I’m a gonner.

You’re being funny with “Anna approves.” Okay I had that coming. But I’m not kidding when I say “off sounds” literally torture me. Sorry.

  3. Jack Says:

When I first played this one, Anna you raved about Celine. Call me surprised.

  4. Anna Keightley Says:

Jack, I was talking about rock music, not Celine. I mean I’ve only listened to her past few months. Didn’t know she was that talented. Almost like a chamelion able to change emotions so readily and usually always positive emotion. No, I’m virtually tortured by rock music. But I’m starting to laugh at “Anna approves.” I can only imagine what that means. Not quite sure. But doesn’t sound too too great. Instead of playing Celine’s one song, Jack. Go look for others of hers. She’s got a long list now. Most of which I’ve listened to.

You’ve got to be kidding when you say Prime Minister Harper is introduced into a room with rock music. He should know better! hahaha. Somebody tell him “Anna disapproves.” LOL.

You might consider putting up this very beautiful song for the suffering in Africa that the Chinese may just back off. Link below:

Some of Al Parsons’ music would be great as a backgrounder for the YouTube Stephen Harper’s RECORD. Look up “Al Parsons YouTube, SIRIUS, PROJECT TIME MACHINE, MAMMA GAMMA, TURN IT UP.

Then David Foster (homegrown) has the Olympic themes.

Sample of Alan Parsons’ music. Link below:

  8. Anna Keightley Says:

Here’s the particular piece called “Syrius” I think would make excellent background music for Stephen Harper’s “RECORD” on YouTube:

I think it was performed at the World Liberty Concert in 1995 and Walter opens with an address. You’ll find the Liberty Concert in the sidebar.

Parsons most exciting piece of music is called “lucifer.” Evil acts/thoughts are for immediate eradication, in my view. It’s unfortunate that he named his finest piece with the name to be ignored by all. Innocently invoking it can bring unexpected troubles, where unknowing individuals cannot discern the difference. Notice I did not uppercase the name. I reject the influence. He is the father of lies. That is to be recognized. Therefore, I will not personally listen to the piece. Just giving a heads-up. Satanic influence in music, especially for our kids is advisable to completely ignore. I hope this doesn’t draw innocent readers to open up the piece for listening. I’ve listened to it but once. After I saw the title that was it for me.

Jack - I left a message on Dion’s official website and it was accepted regarding how we support her performances on this website. I registered my opinion that she definitely is at present an unofficial ambassador for Canada on the international stage — that she’s garnered real love from people all over the world and clearly expresses her personal love for her audiences and her kindnesses displayed at the Katrina disaster. I expressed my hope on her return to Canada her performances would draw young people and as her young son is very much a Canadian, she might hopefully decide to support our Conservative cause to make Canada the best it can be in the future.

Celine is a grounded, independent thinker as evidenced in a few interviews I caught. The sun rises and sets on her son and I instinctively feel she’ll greatly support her son’s country (and her own) upon her return to Canada after her world tour.

I hope PM Harper’s gov’t will recognize her ability to connect with and influence audiences and use her talent/communications skills to influence many on the merits of special Quebeckers, like Dion who support a unified Canada while promoting their own identities.

I have to say I’ve “bumped her” a couple of times in my sidebar but it’s paying off. She’s now in my popular list and there she will remain for some time to come.

    And so she should.

  11. bluetech Says:

Finally…some recognition. Another reason I diss the CBC …they love to diss Celine and Shania…two beautiful talented women who don’t give any fodder for the rag mags.

  12. Anna Keightley Says:

Another fan you are bluetech. Good

I’ve heard the song below sung by many people, but her version is so remarkable it gives one chills. This girl is all about love and joy and it just emanates. My sister told me this for years, but I didn’t pay attention. What a Canadian asset. A fellow Quebecer I’m so proud of as many will be. Link below:

Site hits are going up because of Celine’s “presence.” Great news, Jack.

  13. Jack Says:

    Isn’t she wonderful?

I just watched it again for the “umpteenth” time and I still love it.

    “Vive Quebec!”

  14. Anna Keightley Says:

Celine thanking and performing for the American troops. Good to see the morale boost she provides. Link below:

Also, at sidebar she sings “God Bless America.” Somehow her song has great effect and impact. A goodwill ambassador can make a huge difference.
